IPL/FRAX LASER

What to expect, and how to prepare.

Everything you could possibly want to know about your ILP / FRAX Laser experience at The Aesthetic Haus.

What's the difference
between IPL and FRAX laser treatment?

IPL Laser

The IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) uses light wavelengths to remove skin that is usually red with broken vessels, acne, age spots and other hyperpigmentations.

FRAX Laser

FRAX uses lasers directed at the face to increase the production of collagen, and is most efficient for removing wrinkles and dark spots.

What to expect

If you're ready to schedule your first IPL/FRAX LASER appointment with us, here's what you can expect

The Prep: It is critical that you are not using topical or oral steroids (creams or pills), retinoids (topical or oral) prior to your Fraxel procedure. Discontinue using skincare products containing glycolic acid, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and abrasive scrubs for at least 2 weeks prior to your procedure. Come in with a clean face, and be sure to hydrate.

The Recovery: With IPL, there is little to no downtime.

The Results: After a single treatment, you'll start to see reduced redness, a clearer complexion, and improved skin quality. Our master aesthetician will make a recommendation on frequency for your best skin!
